Now in its 8th year the Rossendale Triathlon has established itself as an “athletes Race” A race that is organised for and by triathletes. This year the race entry fee remains £30.00 making it one of the best value races anywhere. For your hard earned cash you will experience a 400m swim in the beautiful setting of Marl Pits swimming pool, Rawtenstall in the heart of the East Lancashire Pennines, followed by a lumpy 21k bike ride which includes the “Crown Point Roller Coaster” and 5 miles of descent back into Rossendale. The run is a crowd pleasing undulating 5k comprising of 3 laps mixture of road, trail and track. Be sure not to leave before the presentation where there will be lots of spot prizes.
